Nathan "Nate" Gardner He is a (born: January 20, 2012) 4-year-old boy the deuteragonist in Storks. Nate lives with his workaholic parents, and is the one who wrote a letter to the storks to deliver the baby. He is voiced by Anton Starkman.

Character

At the age of 4, Nate Gardner is the son of Henry and Sarah Gardner. He is shown to be very determined when he desires something. After both of his parents refused to help him get a baby brother, he went on his own little journey and discovered the Stork delivery service. He is the one who personally sent out a letter asking for a baby brother, which started the long journey of Tulip and Junior completing their delivery.

Personality

Growing up with busy parents, Nate shows that he feels lonely without having anyone to play with. The result of this is that he pesters his parents to get him a baby brother, so he'll feel less alone all the time, and is visibly distraught when his parents tell him no.

Nate has shown to be innocent, yet extremely creative. In the beginning he is shown to have no clue on how babies are made, as he does not understand why his parents are laughing when he asked "Well where did you guys get me?" when referring to where he can get himself a baby brother.

On the other hand, he is shown that he is extremely bright, as well as manipulative, for his age. In preparation for his baby brother to arrive, he successfully guilt trips his father into helping him by saying "Blink and I'll be in college", "Remember when I was a baby, feels like a minute ago." and "Dad, you'll be my idol for two more years." Later on he is shown to be using a similar tactic with his mother to have her help them destroy the house, reminding her that he is not yet a jerky teenager and that she does not have much longer to create precious memories with him.

Appearance

Nate Gardner appears to be an averaged height child, that has brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a long-sleeved white T-shirt with green sleeves and collar, black pants and red-and-white sneakers.

• Nate Gardner grew up as an only child till he requested his parents to get him a baby brother.
• In his letter to the Storks, he specifically asked for a Baby Brother who has Ninja Skills.
• When Junior and Tulip delivered a baby girl, Nate was shown to be angry till he realized that his baby sister had ninja skills.
• He added extra designs to the baby delivery set up that he and his parents built.
• According to his father, Nate Gardner attends a school that encourages Creativity over Imagination.
• Nate's inspiration to have a baby brother was during a car trip when he looked out the window and saw how happy three siblings were, with one of them saying "I love you brother, it's like we're best friends that live together!"
